APPLICATION Sweep off all dirt, dust and debris. On gravel-surfaced roofing, remove all loose gravel thoroughly. On metal surfaces, remove rust, scale and unsound coatings. Previously untreated concrete, and dried out roofing felt, should be primed with REJUVENOL ROOF SATURANT. Make sure the surface is dry before all applications. Allow patched and primed surfaces to weather at least 10 days before treating with METCOLUME. New roofs should be allowed to weather 90 days before treatment. METCOLUME requires minimum stirring but should be stirred before application to insure uniform dispersion of the aluminum metal particles. Application may be made with a roof brush, spreader or mastic type spray equipment. Apply at the rate of approximately 1*5 gallons per square on smooth surfaces, and 2 gallons per square on rough surfaces. A uniform film performs best. Avoid excessively thin, or excessively thick applications.
