York on improvement of fiber color should be given continued emphasis. 2. Emphasis on fiber filtration relating to asbestoscement should be revived. Eternit, Eapelle, is said to be employing silicate treatment of some fibers as an aid to filtration but is uncertain of the effect on strength. 3. Keans of reducing fiber losses in rejects from magne tic separation (ore concentration) should be investigated further. It was agreed that arrangements shall be made to have a manufacturer's representative visit Black Lake in the near future to discuss the application of sink-float technique for this purpose. 4. The Asbestos Corp. is'said to be supplying fiber to the foam latex spray trade. Ye should make a laboratory investigation of the application of our fiber to this operation. 5* The Tyiercraft boat project will be held in abeyance. Farming out is a possibility. 6. Technical knov-hov in asbestos-cement product manufac ture is badly needed. Arrangements should be made to visit the CAPCO plant as soon as feasible.
