PROPOSED FEDERAL STANDARD FOR JOINT.COMPOUNDS & TAPE
RE: Your Letter of 3-1-77
date: March 3, 1977
My feeling on asbestos remains the same: 1 want to continue to provide an asbestos Ready-Mix as long as possible. In the meantime, continuous development on the asbestos free product we currently have available. I would expect the government to require an asbestos free product on federal jobs. If this transpires, we do have a product we can furnish.
I am very anxious to finalize the asbestos free caesin project. As soon as we can introduce our asbestos free caesin, I plan a price increase on all bag goods from Chicago, caesin and vinyl.
