Features
C'm Z 3 0 alcoho1. W * A F F r 1S a synthetic firefighting foam concentrate designed for
use at 3 % concentration on both polar and hydrocarbon flammable liquids. Though
primarily designed and recommended for use in fixed systems, FC -603F also performs well using conventional foam-making equipment. Also, FC-603F will provide excellent penetrating and wetting qualities when used on Class A fires, allowing extinguishment o f deep-seated fires m wood, paper, robber tires and other ordinary combustibles.

FC-603F 3% alcohol type A F F F is designed for both hydrocarbon and polar flammable
M extingu^ m ent using fresh or sea water and employing standard sprinkler systems. FC-603F also can be used effectively in a wide variety o f firefighting foam application
fn n !S v EXamp eS T f03m chambeR>forcin foam makers, and aspirating f o L i nozzles,
addition, practical applications have been demonstrated in a number o f discharge
devices such as non-aspirating sprinklers, water spray nozzles, and water/fog noz5 es.
FC-603F is UL listed on both hydrocarbon and polar solvent liquids through standard pnnkkr heads. In addition, F C -603F is listed for use with handline nozzles and foam chambers for top side tank protection.
Aqueous Film Formation: FC -603F at 3% proportioning has the ability to form an aqueous film which flows quickly over water-insoluble hydrocarbon fuel surfaces, causing rapid fire extinguishment and vapor suppression.
Polymeric Properties: F C -603F at 3 % proportioning forms a membrane-like protective ' layer on water-soluble polar solvents <e.g,, alcohols), protecting the foam blanket and enhancing fire suppression.
