At a regular meeting of the Directors of John f Lewis & Bros. Company, held this day In their offlee ih the Widensr Building, there were present:
Edward F. Beale, Chairman of the Board J ' rdiner, Vice President M * Merritt, seerstary Leonard T. Beale, Director The meeting was called to order by Mr, Edward F. Beale, who presided, end Mr. Morris H. Merritt reported the minutes of the meeting. Mr. L. T. Beale*a suggested plan dated February 10 for the manufacture of ready-mixed paint and other types of protect ire coverings in our whits-lsad division, ms read and discussed considerably. AS a result of the fire in the oil mill of the Atlantic Branch they have been compelled to buy elsewhere and it was felt that we should sell them whatever linseed oil we could at our cost price. Mf Gardiner was authorised to issue a letter to our white-lead agents in this territory asking them not to sell white-lead to the national Aluminum Company of Philadelphia. There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned.
