O \r> - Note f~.Inerteen is pri marily a polychlorinated biphenyl which some studies have shown may be an environmental contaminant, therefore it mu3t be disposed of as Indicated. Procedure: 1, Liquid Inerteen: Scrap dealer is not permitted to remove any liquid inerteen from the Bloomington Plant or surrounding Westinghouse property. 2. Solid waste contaminated with inerteen which includes mainly clay, sawdust, paper, aluminum foil and metal cans will be disposed of in a special area of the Monroe County Dump which has been set aside for this waste only.- The depth of trench and the amount and frequency of cover shall be in accordance with state and county regulations for a sanitary land fill. 5 . Scrap dealer is not to remove any solid waste contaminated with Inerteen unless the containers are leak proof and are marked "SOLID INERTEEN SCRAP". 4. Containers should be furnished with a cover which will prevent rain water from getting into containers. 5. Westinghouse supervisory personnel whose sections will be using the containers shall assure that covers are in place when containers are not in use. 6.
