Tom Sharp reports (5/15/75) that the BT-476-D sample (Lot 55462)

He does not consider It Cowles dispersible. This substantiates ottr laboratory
Cowles and 3-roll mill test results versus BT-383-D. Tom said they have
tested American Cyanamid's unchlorinated, red shade, crystal stable alpha
blue 55-3744 and find it Cowles dispersible. He is interested in both a
red and. green snade Cowles dispersible. Tom reports the American Cyanamid
product when given a high speed mix in a low solvent-high solids heat-
set vehicle (represents plant Cowles mix) and a loose pass over the three
roll mill in their laboratory, gives a ''perfect'' ink. We will obtain a
sample of the A.C. alpha blue,
