Philadelphia, Pa. May 8, 1?39. At a regular meeting of the Directors of John T. Lewis & Bros. Company Belt this day in their offices in the Bid oner Buildiag, there were present: Edward F. Beale, Chairman of the Board 3. French Reeves, ice President and Treasurer J. 1. Gardiner, Tioe President Morris H. Merritt, secretary Leonard T. Beale, Director The meeting was called to order hy Mr. Edward F. Beale, who presided, and Mr, Morris H. Merritt reported the minutes of the meeting. The minutes of our meeting of May 1 wore read and approved. It was decided to recommend that Lewis Martin, 65 years old, be placed on pension under the regular national Lead schedule. | Mr. Beeves reported that Mr. Fred. Brinker. Superintendent of the national Lead Company Steel Package Plant in St. Louis, visited this office and our factory this morning in order to cheek over our steel keg situation on which two have been having some trouble. On motion of Mr. L. T. Beale it was decided to renew our advertisement in the Annual Labor Directory at a cost of $25,00 per year. Mr, Gardiner submitted the regular weekly report of shipments.
