Dear Bob, I have a number of letters iron you - all of very considerable interest, particularly at the- present time. I am hoping to be able to reply to each one in the near future when . I have a little more information to give to you. I shall also be writing you on an entirely different problem which has proved a rather serious one to us, and the details of which may, Xbelieve, be both interesting and valuable to you. However, our information is not yet quite complete but I hope it will be in the course of the next week or two. I sent a copy of your letter of S2nd May to Dr. Cassells, and as a matter of interest, attach hereto oopy of his reply. I fully endorse his view that it would be virtually impossible for us, to-day, to obtain an adequate supply of rubber gloves. If therefore we are going to use gloves, we have no alternative to.treated leather. I shall be replying separately on the transportation problem to viiich you refer, but might mention here that our information is just about as uncertain as your own.
