Dr, Robert A. Kehoe
September 27, 1940
Dear Bob:
Dr. MacConnell of ihe Herman Keifer Hospital, is a member
of the Detroit Board of Health, and is taking an active part in
arranging the American Public Health Convention at the Book-Cadillac
Hotel October 8-14. Dr.'MacConnell is going to make an exhibit of
industrial hazards and vail mention tetraethyllead (presumably as
a hazardous material), and Ethyl Gasoline, this one as an example
of the non-dangerous class.
He told Dr. Beatty that he had made
a large number of tests on filling station attendants, the results
of which will be published in about a year, and show absolutely no
hazardous effect of leaded gasoline.
Very sincerely yours.
