At present, as in the past, you are printing the following on all Ford Service Cartons: CAUTION: Contains asbestos fibers. Avoid creating dust. Breathing asbestos dust may cause serious bodily harm. When servicing this brake lining or any component related to it or located near it, prevent asbestos dust from becoming airborne by vacuuming the assembly with an industrial type vacuum cleaner equipped with a high efficiency filter system and by wash ing the assembly with an appropriate brake parts washer, if necessary. Never remove dust or dirt from this assembly by blowing with compressed air. L1516 This should be continued as there is no change at the present time. All other cartons, excluding General Motors and including Tri-Wall Containers, must show the following statement: DANGER CONTAINS ASBESTOS FIBERS AVOID CREATING DUST CANCER AND LUNG DISEASE HAZARD HWBUI0012295 Vermont Container Corp.
