Mr. Coburn still is following up on Westlake. Mr. Vergel Perry will follow-up on Goodyear. Dr. Has Shah will contact Union Carbide. Mr. Burley Melton will contact Keysor. 4.0 Mr. Coburn will send lists of participants of all previous workshops to Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah will put the names and addresses of all participants on the word processor as time permits. 5.0 Mr. Howard Manning will conduct a second VCNet emergency response number drill staring next week. 6.0 The VCNet participants agreed to get EmTech under agreement to respond to vinyl chloride incidents as a "For-Hire" contractor. Dr. Shah will prepare an agreement to be executed by CMA and EmTech. 7.0 Mr. Lunsford described the October 5, 1992 vinyl chloride incident in which 7 vinyl chloride carts had derailed. Five of these cars turned over. Mr. Frank Sollman will send information on the Chlorine Institute's write-up on chlorine properties and characteristics to use as a model for vinyl chloride.
