What puzzles me greatly and what weakens my 'confidence in its pages, is the fact that a reputable journal like that of the American Medical Associa tion would print such an article as the one by Dr. Horatio B. Williams and entitle it "Chronic,Lead Poisoning". It must be evident to any one even vaguely familiar with scientific methods that Dr. Williams has placed himself on very uncertain ground.
