WILMINGTON, Del., May 14 -- The Du Pont Company has licensed Kikuchi Color and Chemical Corporation of Tokyo to produce "Krolor" pigment colors in Japan. Under terms of the agreement, Kikuchi received a license to make, use and sell such pigments under Japanese patent 699310* "Krolor" pigment colors are silica-encapsulated lead chromate and lead-molybdate inorganic pigments. "Krolor" pigment colors are used in the paint and plastics industries for their heat stability, chemical resistance and lightfastness properties.
