TECHNIQUE
Must be off whenever truck motor is not running*
Check and fill as required.
Check tank level before usings So not use if low. Fill if gas available. Shut motor off first. Wipe up any spills.

Operates in the same manner as standard auto mobile 0 Show two forward positions and the reverse position.
This is only other brake than foot brake. Use to brake truck at any time operator leaves it.
Full to lift push to drop. Check before using truck on Job and also for oil leakage. Always keep forks low when traveling with load or without.
Full to tilt - push to straighten hoist. More tilting is required for heavier loads and higher reaches with loads.
Adjust width spacing to provide good load bal ance.
KEY POINT - SAFETY
Battery will run down otherwise and may fall to start. Prevent unauthorised use.

KETTLE ENTRY CHECK UST (84, 88, 92 Building)

Entry preparations for No.Kettle inBuilding.
Upon completion of this check list and issuance of a Safety Permit by responsible supervision, the above kettle will be ready for entry. This check list must be attached to the approved Safety Permit and returned with the Permit to the responsible supervision upon completion of the job.
Check Here
1. Necessary monomer charge valves closed and tagged or locked out as required,
______ ____ 2. Vent line and stack line valves in proper position,
3. Dump, raw material, high pressure water, and water charge line valves closed as required.
4. Kettle properly aired out:
a. Vacuum of 20" pulled twice. (vacuum valve closed at completion of this purge.)
b. Coppus blower blown into kettle for 15 minutes.
5. Jacket instrument at proper setting.
6, Kettle agitator push button tagged and disconnect locked out and tagged.
7. Following equipment available and ready for use as required by the Safety Permit.
a. Harness with rope to be secured to pipe outside kettle. b. Rubber-fotted aluminum ladder with rope to be secured to pipe outside kettle. c. Explosion-proof extension light or flash light. d. Spark-proof tools. e. Gloves, rubber footwear, goggles or. face shield and tool belt. f. Coppus blower plugged in and placed on stand-by.
8. Line tender available.
9. No monomer will be charged to a kettle during entry.
ie above items have been prepared prior to request for a Safety Permit and kettle entry. I am
miliar with the Standard Operating Procedures governing kettle entry and have read and checked the above precautions. In signing this form I am not waiving any rights to claim benefits under the Workmens' Compensation law which would otherwise be available to me.
