Hirschler Ethyl Corporation 1600 West Eight Mile Road Ferndale 20, Detroit, Michigan Dear Mr. Hirschler: Dr. Kehoe went directly from the area of his vacation to Portland, Oregon to appear as an expert witness in a court trial, and although he planned to return to the Laboratory on September 1 or thereabouts, I was advised today that the trial ha3 been delayed, and it will not be possible to return to the Laboratory until September 10. September promises to be a month heavily loaded with out-of-town engagements, and, as you may suspect, there will be a large accumulation of correspondence. However, I shall give you the dates during September when it is expected that he will be in the Laboratory: September 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 26, 27, 23 and 30 He may have made engagements about which I do not know and there may be others develop within the next few days, but I give you the above information to help you formulate any plans you may wish to make.
