1 have recently received word of the wish of the Asiatic Petroleum Company to have you supervise one of their plants in which vthyl Fluid is to bo raised with gasoline* In as much as your colleague Dr* Harareachor has been engared at one of the other plants at this sane time* I hnvo written him a somewhat detailed letter on this subject* and rather than repeat this letter* I am sending you a copy of it for your information*
From what has been said to Dr* Hamm a cher, I would not want you to believe that there are no dangers in connection with this work, and that the supervision of these men should bo undertaken lightly* I believe that car and atten tion to detail is quite necessary in order to maintain a proper attention on the part of workmen to the dotn'la of th regulations* It Is true that the examination* and inspections need not be carried out more frequently than quarterly* On the other hand these examinations should be done quite carefully and the plants should be inspected quit critically so as to maintain them In a precise and cleanly fashion*
If you have any questions in connection with this work, I should appreciate your writing to me and, in any case, I would l,rV:e you to acknowledge th receipt of the Information which I am sending you in th form of printed articles*
With best wishes, I era
Sincerely yours.
