Like other quinacridone products, it possesses the durability and chemical resistance required for use in automotive finishes. Application Monastral Maroon RT-792-D is widely used in original equipment and refinish systems in combination with aluminum and transparent red and yellow iron oxides to produce colors ranging from deep russet maroons to light red shade golds. In addition to unique color and transparency, Monastral Maroon RT-792-D also offers excellent flocculation resistance. Because of these attributes, RT-792-D is often combined with transparent iron oxides to compensate for their questionable flocculation resistance, increase their color intensity and enhance their two-tone or "Flip-Flop" effect.
