Please note that the Department of Labor Regulation 29 CFR 1910 requires that persons handling asbestos-containing products and exposed to asbestos dust must be provided with approved respirators. It also requires that emptied bags be placed in a plastic bag and disposed of in an approved dump. It is the duty of the contractor to see that these provisions of the regulation are complied with.
