These, you*11 remember, are used for tool bits, machine parts and to protect metal parts in gen eral. They are dipped hot and then stripped whenever the customer is ready to use the part. T The large sample is a cellulose acetate hot melt that they have produced. The small strip is a sample of this hot melt when fused. They have tried all our available plas ticizers and everything else they can think of and have been unable to make a hot melt with as sharp a melting point as the smaller sample, which is a competitive pro duct. This may be a little out of the laboratory's usual line, but we would appreciate any thoughts you might have on raising and sharpening the melting point of such a formula tion without increasing cloudiness, opacity or discoloring the product.
