The inductry'a concern in regard to the alleged health hasarda atisulated the foraatlon of the Oeeupatloaal Health and Safety Ccanlttee of the national Insulation Manufacturers Association (XXMA). Tou reviewed the data at our request end advised ia your letter to UNA dated April 3, 1967 that a broadly baaed study was needed. The BXMA Board of Directors on May 16, 1967 unaniaoualy agreed to seek the assistance of the U. S. Public Health Bervica in initiating a study of the fibroua glaaa and edneral wool industry with re spect to diyi health hasarda. At the discretion of the U. S.
