Dear Doctor Kehoe:
Thank you for your recent letter and the information contained therein. I am in receipt of Dr. Anderson's letter to you dated June 6, 1967.
I am writing this letter simply to make clear that the statement contained in your letter to the effect that I requested additional information concerning your appearance before the Montana State Board of Health is in error. I never made any such request to any one. The implication of your letter seems to be that I questioned the veracity of the information you gave in response to my inquiry at the hearing. Such implication is entirely unwarranted, and the reason for the inquiry was such as is stated in Dr. Anderson's letter. I never made any request of anyone, either informal or formal for any additional information, nor did anyone else represent ing the Board of Health make any such inquiry to my knowledge.
Let me add my thanks to those of Dr. Anderson for your appearance at the hearing and for the very useful information you gave.
