The complaint was from the company union to Mr. Oscar DiSilvestrb of the United States Department of Labor, Operations in question are tacking and welding steel which has been precoated with Amer Coat, 1 package Primer (Brea, Calif.) composition 25% Zn and 2% filler with the remainder being alcohols, glycols and polymers. Company has performed their own monitoring and the results were analyzed by Delare Lab, Some of the results shown I, H. were: 5/15/63 Total particulate 7 rag , 3 samples Zinc oxide 1 mg . 8/16/63 3/7 - 22.8 15 samples 5.9 - 25.9 Highest concentrations Ni Cr 0y Walter J. Chrostek I. H. observed men during welding. Most of the men utilise blowers; however, I, H. >jasJLnfo^med certain men objected to using blowers.
