Latonia, That works fine for the Commissioner. Paul will pick him up at the bus station in Augusta at 11am.

Paul recommends that Ken stay Tuesday night at: Marriott Residence Inn 22 Bass Park Boulevard Bangor, Maine 877-945-0625
Paul will drive Ken from the Augusta bus station to visit with (hopefully if we can get an opening) the Governor and then to one of our remaining operating mills. He'll take him to Bangor from there, they can have dinner together or the hotel has a good restaurant. Paul will then pick Ken up from the hotel Wednesday morning and show him several other facilities in the area, and drop him off at the airport for his flight. Paul recommends this flight: BGR to DCA - AA 4693 5:19pm - 7:32pm
Paul's schedule is flexible both days, except he has Cabinet Tuesday morning until around 9:30, and he needs to get on the road to Vermont on Wednesday evening. Within those boundaries he is very happy to accomodate whatever Ken prefers.
Thank you very much for working with us to facilitate this visit! Melanie Loyzim

Melanie, This is great! if he takes the train in the morning of the 9ih. He will not arrive in Augusta until 11:00am. Will that mess up any plans? Let me know what works best for the Commissioner and we will make it happen.

Latonia, Here's the link to Concord - https://concordcoachlines.com/ He could leave Boston from either Logan Airport or South Station, arrive in Augusta at 10:55. It's the same bus - it starts at Logan @ 7:30am, goes to S. Station for pickup @ 8am, then up to Maine. This is what it's like:

Melanie,
Awesome. I should have a sketch of the info this week. Ken will be coming from Region 1 HQ, in Boston. I just reached out to Region 1 to get an idea of their Itinerary so, I can better give you arrange for Ken's arrival. I think this was the suggestion from this fall coordination, to fly into Bangor. I believe Lynn gave me some a websites to look at flights. I'll check and get back with you.
Best Regards,
Latonia

Hi Latonia, I am happy to work with you on details for Mr. Wagner's visit. Lynn is out this week but I can access the Commissioner's schedule.
Commissioner Mercer recommends flying into Bangor if convenient because there are facilities in the more central part of our state that he would like bring Mr. Wagner to visit.
Thank you, Melanie Loyzim Deputy Commissioner, Maine Department of Environmental Protection (207)287-2811

Andrea, We would be honored to have Mr. Wagner visit our State. Would you be able to be a little specific as to arrival and departure times. Once we know the times we can schedule appropriate visits to best utilize his time. Thank you and Happy Holidays. Greetings, Commissioner Mercer!
Apologies for the short notice on this but it seems we have an opportunity to get Ken up to Bangor on Tuesday, January 9th. How is that day looking for you?
I recall you wanted to get him out to some sites, so understand if we need to push it out further to allow for coordination w/relevant folks.

Commissioner Mercer -
I hope you are doing well and that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday (and you, Lynn)!
I sincerely apologize we weren't able to schedule Ken to get out to see you in the last couple of months. I happened to run into him earlier today and inquired about this...sounds like his schedule is booked through most of the winter months. Might we look to the Spring to get him out there?

Andrea, It was nice to meet you in Wyoming and talk this morning. Thank you for agreeing to help with Mr. Wagner's visit to Maine scheduled for the 18th of October. I would like to suggest he fly into Bangor ( http://www.flybangor.com/flight-arhvals ). Instead of Mr. Wagner meeting in our office, we would like to arrange for him to visit sites and members of our regulated community within the State.
Regards, Paul
