ST/3/310 ST/3/240 YOUR RCF. 11th December, 1950 Dr. R. A. Kehoe, University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine, Eden Avenue, CINCINNATI, Ohio. U.S.A. Dear Bob, Thank you for your letter of December 1st. Our latest information is that the five men concerned in the tank cleaning incident at Stourport are making favourable progress. Wei are keeping a very close eye on the extensive tank cleaning programme at present in operation in this country, and our overseas offices were instructed to do the same when we sent them copies of Dr. Davison's report. I have, with great regret, to inform you of another tank cleaning incident, this time in Singapore, and I am sending particulars of this to you: today. You will notice that the cause of this latter incident is only too obvious. With regard to the question of the manufacture of T.E.L. in Japan, I have very little to add to my previous letter, but Mr. Batchelor,: who has this country under his supervision, is keeping in touch with the situation and will keep us informed. If any information should come to us which might be of interest to you we will pass it on. Likewise, if Bill Machle should let you know anything about the manufacture of'T.E.L. in Japan we should be glad to have it if you can possibly send it to us. With all best regards to yourself and Mrs. Kehoe, Sincerely yours, CHN/bjw Kr. 0021345 C. H. NOBLE.
