Robert/Nonie Thanks for the update. I expect that in the next few weeks BP will likely lift the travel restrictions to China and we should be clear by late July. I agree with Robert's proposed timing and schedule. I will contact PetroChina (Zhang Guo Hong) to arrange a visit with them on Wednesday July 30 in Beijing. Robert - you and I should make travel arrangement with United to fly to Shanghai on Monday July 21, returning Thursday July 31. Nonie - we again need your help with domestic travel arrangements. We need hotel in Shanghai nights of July 22 thru 26 (Sat.), fly to Harbin on Sunday, stay in Daqing nights of July 27-28, fly Harbin-Beijing late Tue. July 29, hotel in Beijing July 29, then fly back to Shanghai late July 30. Thanks again for all your help. She mentioned there were no new cases of SARS in all parts of China yesterday and today. There are more overseas people visiting the BP Shanghai office recently. However, BP is still on the business-essential travel policy. I informed her that Mike Markowicz and I should arrive in Shanghai on Tuesday July 22, assuming that the SARS-related travel restrictions are officially lifted by BP soon. I have requested her to make contacts again with Shanghai Jin Shan Plant for a one-day visit by Mike and I between Wednesday July 23 and Friday July 25. I also requested her to keep in contact with Dr. Dong at Da Qing who we shall visit on July 28 and 29. Mike, we should re-consider whether to spend one day (July 30) in Bejing on our way back from Da Qing.
