We are quite willing to send you our results but wish to point out that they are for your use only and are not for publication. The concentration of lead in all of the soft tissues is v/ell above normal limits and indicates the recent exposure of consider able magnitude. The figures for bone are within normal limits. This type of distribution in Which high lead concentrations are encountered in the soft tissues, especially the liver, spleen, kidney, etc., and normal or slightly elevated amounts in the bones is characteristic of a recent severe exposure and may be taken in addition as evidence that the recent exposure was the only significant one encountered v/ithin the three or four months period prior to death. . I did not remove these tissues myself at necropsy, but they were furnished us by Dr. Prltzker, who is in charge of the laboratory at the Huron Road Hospital. There is no reason to assume from these results that any contamination occurred, except possibly in the case of the small bowel, which result however has no appreciable bearing upon the results when they are taken as a whole.
