Attached you will find a copy of a
letter of transmittal with an affidavit executed
by Mr.Knox and sent to Mr. James W. Laist.
Mr. Johnson and Mr. Knox talked to Jim on the
phone and since there was a big rush to get this,
it was sent direct with the arrangement that copies
should be sent to you.
East Chicago has not sent
me a copy of the affidavit, although the proposed
form was discussed with them some time ago.
I presume the arrangement is satis factory with you but to make sure I am calling it to your attention.
