I have been employed by AIA/NA since 1974 and have been AIA/NA's Executive Director (its chief executive officer) since 1978. I report directly to AIA/NA's President, Executive Committee and Board of Directors, all of whom are representatives from the member companies of AIA/NA. 2. AIA/NA is an incorporated, not for profit orga nization founded in 1970 for educational and scientific purposes. The Association provides information to Govern ment regulatory agencies, users of asbestos-containing products, and the public, on methods and procedures to assure safe use of asbestos-containing products.
