We have another request for funds to cover the renovations to the lab space at Fudan University in preparation for the establishment of the China Benzene Research consortium. As you may recall, we approved funding last year for $50K to go to Fudan University for this purpose. Fudan has since found that they need an additional $50K to complete the renovations and need the money ASAP (they anticipate their need as early March). Since this level of funds is not currently available, based on the approval of funds for protocol development that took place last week, Patrick has proposed that we provide them with $25K now and provide the remainder from the consortium when it forms. This issue may need some additional discussion and I will schedule a conference call based on your responses below.
