To: S. C. Hillman From: J. R. Ganc Date: November 30, 1990 VCM CONCENTRATIONS FOR DIFFERENT SOURCES The following figures represent the the VCM concentrations in and around our plant as determined by the air dispersion models I have been running recently. The units on the contours are ug/m3, and the coordinates of the X and Y axis are in meters. The table represents the highest concentrations found at the rececptors located at 10 intervals around the fenceline. The fenceline marked on the graphs represents the real estate that we specifically have fenced or otherwise blocked off (e.g. the fire pond and the front parking lot do not fall within the fenceline). Mississippi highway no. 25 is about 130 meters north of the north boundary. These graphs represent the concentrations of VCM that result when the plant is producing slurry that has a VCM concentration of 100 ppm. These model runs are also different from those performed by Scott Environmental; I fixed some mistakes in their original work and modified the treatment of the ponds and the sphere into what I thought was a more representative form. ph R.
