Charleston, WV 25303 # ## # 1) There was a general review of the draft material prepared by Drs. Torkelson, Kirkland and Mr. Wheeler. Various additions and changes will be made in these drafts. 2) It is anticipated that the reviews being done by the other individuals as assigned at the April 10 meeting will be submitted for consideration in the near future. In addition to the assignments made at that time, the following work will be done: . the miscellaneous papers from the OSHA conference in March will be critiqued by Dr. Ed Baier. , Dr. Vance Kirkland will review the Nehir paper (it5) from the OSHA meeting. . Dr. Torkelson will review the work by Norsk Hydro on chromosomes damage and repair. . There is need for specific data on the current levels of PVC dust exposure for inclusion in the critique of this subject being prepared by Mr. Wheeler. All companies having such information should submit it directly to Messrs. Wheeler or Hadley. It is expected that this draft will be available by the next meeting of the committee scheduled for May 1, 1980 at the Keller & Heckman offices in Washington, D.C. 4) A final meeting of this committee to review the SPI submissions will be held at Keller & Heckman on Thursday,. May 8, beginning, at 2:00 p.m. 5) Dr. Dan Boyd reviewed the general concepts involved in the literature file on vinyl chloride he has proposed. His procedure will generally cover the following: . gathering basic reference material , reviewing this material . critique literature from industry prospective . excerpt review of literature as may be required . retrieval of stored material to answer specific inquiries. 6) The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m. Respectfully submitted April 23, 1980 Technical Director SPI-08972
