MONSANTO CMEMlvAL COMPANY gt_ Loula - General Offices OATS October 20, 1964 Pydraul A-200 Infer 0 [fic e C.O'rr \p"' ce ir TO R. Emmet Kelly, M.D. Dale Smith called to request that you call Miss Canady, Chief Nurse at Carter Carburetor - JE 1-2950. A Bill Grills, die casting superintendent, called Smith to report that one of their workmen was hit in the face with a stream of A-200 last evening. Apparently, some of It entered his eyes. Smith does not believe it was hot (probably about 100-120F) but the eyes may have been hit with the pressure of the stream. Grills asked that a physician call the nurse to discuss with her any suggestions you might have for removing the material from the eyes when such accidents occur and hopefully can help her with some ideas for treatment. $ - LOO EPW:mJb Elmer P.
