This information is being requested in connection with preparation of the draft NPDES permit reissuance. Specifically we are requesting the following information: i. Submittal of any other discharge/effluent data for PFOA, PFOS, and related FCs completed at the Cottage Grove plant compiled by 3M. 2. The origin of the PFOA, PFOS, and related FC concentrations in the 201C0 discharge? 3. The past and current state of production of PFOA and/or PFOS at the Cottage Grove plant? 4. Any information regarding the conversion of any other Ecs or FC intermediates produced at 3M Cottage Grove, including POSF (perfluorooctanesulfonyl flouride) and PFOA, to PFOS through any chemical, degradation, or metabolic, or other conversion processes. 5. l~ly information 3M has developed, or is planned, regarding the environmental transport properties, physical and chemical properties, biodegradability, and bioconcentration evaluations for PFOA, PFOS, and related FCs.
