Medium Impact Material BMMA-6705 Black 25 (Now BMMA-5715).
The BMMA-5705, our new medium impact replacement for BMG-7500, has been redesignated BMMA-5715 to avoid cODfualcn with a compound obaoleted several years ago. Some additional information has also been included on your handwritten draft of the New Product Data Sheet and property comparison with BMG-7300 and Durea 1544, and it has been returned to you.
With regard to your concern over the competitiveness of the BMMA-5715 gran ulation. there is little we can do at the moment. The material is not dust-free and to make it so ie a separate problem which applies to all our compounds. If Applications R k D is to work on a dust-free granulation, 1 think the problem should be aet up as a separate objective. In the meantime. It should be possible to promote BMMA-5715 at accounts who don't need a dust-free product and where we now sell BMG-7500.
A "34B41' for a production run of BMMA-5715 is being entered by Lew Fiahberg. By the time it Is scheduled, we will probably have heard from Bob Sherman re garding the evaluation of BMMA-5715 at Allen Bradley and Cutler-Hammer and, hence, be in a good position to make the plasticities required.
