We concluded that this was a most flexible plan subject to change on a need or priority basis. Also, such changes would call for a revised scheduling. Reduction Plants: Surveys will be completed at the Listerhill Reduction Plant, listerhill, Alabama and the St. Lawrence Plant, Massena, New York. An area of interest include ventilation in the pot rooms anf familiarisation in general with the plant operations. Tilo Company: Clearance for this survey will be completed by our local representative through his plant contact. Additional clearance will be obtained as needed prior to this survey. We are interested in the use of asbestos' - and other dust at this plant. McCook Plant: We will request a current evaluation from our representative after which our hygienist would plan a visit into this plant for further studies and familiarisation with the plant operations. Alumina Division: A request will be initiated for a visit by our hygienist to visit the Sherwin Plants Corpus Christi, Texas. Printing Division: Follow up visits by our representative as relates to recortmendations previously submitted at the two Southern Gravure Plants. A visit to Bellvood Printing Plant is scheduled this week as relates to solvent usage. ucctrr Page 2 Mr* Largent Can Division: Follow up visits by our representative relating to recommendations submitted from visits to the Orlando Can and Tampa Can Plants. In all instances we will follow our approach that has been effective to date of: 1. Requesting our representative to complete a local plant evaluation. 2. Review request as received by the writer with you for comments and approval. 3. Arrangements be made for joint visit by our Local Plant representative and Industrial Hygienist with Local Plant Management. Where possible you will plan to be at the local plant on the date set for the survey. SMR/cd cc: Dr...L.,,M. MacMillan Mr. Paul G. Stickler Mr. E. Nichols Stan M. Roberts Loss Prevention Manager
