Mr. A. E. Mittnacht, Ethyl Gasoline Corp., Chrysler Bldg., New York, N. Y. Dear Mr. Mittnacht:
I received yesterday the new can of stronger material with the brass cap. I have examined it, ha^e tak en the cap off a number of times, re-sealed It, and have permitted it to stand over night wrong side up. I am satis fied that it is a very great improvement over any can we have produced. I have no criticism to offer of it except to agree with Mr. Bartholomew on the machining of the pipe nipple* This Is a matter of importance which should be very easily taken care of In view of the fact that these cans are to be used only once, that Is, they are not to be returned to the plant for refilling, X understand. If it were intended to return them for such refilling, I would consider it advisable to touch up the top of the nipple so as to make certain that any damage to it accomplished in transit were corrected*
Very truly yours,
