" This has caused us some concern regarding the continuing a v a ila b ilit y of other m aterials and p a rts, such as gaskets, which contain asb esto s. For th is reason, we are attempting to survey a l l suppliers o f these m aterials to Ford Motor Company. S p e c ific a lly , we are seeking answers to the follow ing questions. W ithin your own manufacturing operations, are you aware o f any conditions which would cause you to discontinue the production of asbestoseontaining m aterials or parts? I f your product is processed further by another concern, such as die cu ttin g o f gaskets, do you an ticip ate th at i t w ill be able to continue i t s production? Is your source o f asbestos able to guarantee to you that i t w ill be able to continue to supply you?
