They are classified as Milord, Chinese, and Prussian Blue. Iron blues are non-bleeding and have excellent light, heat, and aoid re sistance. Color retention is excellent in full shades. Durability is excellent in full shades, but a tendency to bronze occurs on exterior ex posure, mostly in the Milori blues and least so in Prussian blues* Alkali resistance is poor. Wide use occurs in automotive and industrial enamels, dark and medium trim paints, and tinting where only moderate light fastness is required* Milori blues are reddish in masstone, have soft texture, are non-reactive, and mix and grind easily. 7620 Clean green masstone and tintj suitable for use with yellows to produce greens. Chinese blues have a clean blue masstone and strong green tint* 7600 Regular; jet masstone with greenish tint. II. Principally noted for a dark, brilliant blue color, they are somewhat reddish in cast. They offer good heat stability, non-bleeding in organic solvents, excellent al kali resistance (except lime) and extreme light fastness. They are sensitive to acids and should be used with low acidity vehicles. Tinctorial strength is much weaker than iron blues. Failure Is rapid by chalking and color decomposition; therefore, exterior use is not recommended. Ultramarine blues are readily adaptable to emulsion paints. 7650 Standard shade. 0007-PMC-000000381
