The report will be submitted to the Scientific Review Panel (SRP) for review at its September 6, 1990 meeting; the SRP meeting notice will be issued later. The final draft report to the SRP consists of an Executive Summary and Parts A, B, and C. Part A, compiled by the Air Resources Board (ARB) staff, discusses the uses, emissions, atmospheric persistence, and exposure to ambient as well as indoor concentrations of vinyl chloride. Part B, compiled by the Department of Health Services (DHS) staff, discusses the effects of vinyl chloride on public health and the risk of exposure to ambient air concentrations. Part C contains the ARB/DHS responses to public comments received during the comment periods. As you may recall, there have already been two opportunities to comment on this report. The Second Draft of the report included revisions as a result of comments on the Preliminary Draft Report. Please note that the SRP does not accept written or oral testimony at its meetings.
