Dear Dr. Kehoe:
It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity
of seeing you in St. Louis. I discovered when I returned
to Detroit that the train time from Detroit to Saginaw has
been changed. The train leaves at 8:55 A.M. and arrives
in Saginaw at 11:52 A.M.
''
This morning I contacted the men who are working directly with tetraethyl lead with the purpose of correct ing as far as possible the gross errors in handling so that you can devote your short time here to the less evident' hazards.;
In checking through our work on the chlorphenols I find that vie have run some toxicities .studies on intra venous injections. I had connected this work in my mind with some other compounds, and I had forgotten that we had run them. The work is not complete, but it appears that it may change somewhat the curve of toxicity for the various chlorphenols as I reported it to yo u in St. Louis. I have asked our men to run some further tests as it may throw- some interesting light on the angles which we discussed.
I shall look forward to seeing you in Midland, December 1. We will have a car in Saginaw to meet you at 11:52 A.M. unless we hear to the contrary.
I am leaving town, for a short vacation and will not return until the last of November. However, I have arranged to have any communications from you transmitted to me at once.
DDL :R
Very sincerely your:
