Ecicer and that the latter is agreeable to our proposal that you head our new Division of Industrial Medicine. I have not seen a copy of Mr. Sober's letter but the Chancellor reported that Mr. acker, of course, did not rant to make any final answer until he has had a chance to discuss it with you on your return from the T7est. It is clear from his letter, however, that he is Billing, if you are, to have you serve on the faculty and has suggested that, to safeguard your retirement interests at the Metropolitan, it might be best for you to work with us on a part-time basis for the first year, during which tine the Metropolitan would continue to nay your entire salary. This seems a most generous proposal on iir. Inker's part anc I know it means all the more because of the sacrifice he would be making in letting us have you for even part of the tine, I aa simply delighted at she way this is turning out and I know that it means the success of our Institute of Industrial Medicine. Sincerely yours, Dr. Anthony J.
