Ryan-
Attached is an invitation for Administrator Pruitt to participate in CEA's Future of Electricity Forum, which will take place at the Top of the Hill conference center in Washington, DC (1 Constitution Ave, NE) from 8:00-11:00 on November 28.
At this point, we have FERC Chairman Neil Chatterjee confirmed and should get a confirmation from Energy Secretary Perry locked in this week. We will also being inviting relevant members of the House and Senate, as well as key stakeholders from the coal, nuclear, natural gas and transmission sectors.
We can be very flexible in terms of format. We would recommend a 15-20 minute statement followed by a short Q-A session (I will moderate), but will work with you to get the right set-up. Our goal with the event it to provide Scott with a platform to showcase the good work that you guys are doing on the electricity generation front.
Please let me know if you need any additional information or have any questions.
Thanks.
Michael

RE: Invitation to Speak at Future of Electricity Forum
Administrator Pruitt:
On behalf of Consumer Energy Alliance's 275 affiliates and 450,000 individual members, I would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Future of Electricity Forum on November 28, 2017 in Washington, DC.
As you know, the policy discussions surrounding grid resilience and reliability, as well as wholesale and retail rates, have a profound and direct impact on American electricity consumers. In order to facilitate this important dialogue, Consumer Energy Alliance will be hosting the Future of Electricity Forum next month. This event will feature Senators, Representatives, stakeholders and state regulators in a series of panels discussing the transformation of the United States electricity markets taking place today and the role of the federal government regulations in shaping the future our both electricity generation and distribution.
Ideally, we would like to ask you to provide a 15-20 minute keynote address followed by a 10 minute moderated Question & Answer session, but we can alter the format to fit your needs. The Forum will run from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM and we can schedule your appearance anywhere within that window.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any further information.
Sincerely,
Michael Whatley Executive Vice President Consumer Energy Alliance
