Perhaps it will he of interest to mention that in 1962 one of our -consulting laboratories determined the oral LD5Q in rats of Aroclor 1254 to bo greater than 10 grains per kilogram whan administered undiluted using four groups of mixed sex animals weighing between 200-250 grams and administered at doses of 7,94, 10.0, 12.6, and 15*S respectively for the individual groups. The oral JD50 was calculated as 11*9 g/kg with limits of 10.47 to 13*45 gAg. In the case of Aroclor 1260, a 50^ solution in corn oil developed data leading to a calculated LD50 of 10.0 g/kg with lower and upper limits of 8.6 and 11.6 g/kg. 1 have enclosed summaries of recent data we have received from Industrial Eio-Test Laboratories in Chicago. The summaries indicate the 90-day interim results of two year chronic feeding studies to dogs of Aroclor 1254 end 1260. A second enclosure is the summary showing the statue of three generation rat reproduction studies on these materials begun in Kay. Vfe also have underway two year oral studies in rets.
