June 13, 1944 480 215.3005 I note from your letter of June 10 that in the near future a representative of the safety department will mate a trip to Detroit for a discussion, ;qf the method now employed in the handling of concentrated Ethyl Fluid, particular ly with respect to the use of one liter cans. Y:e are pleased to note that Dr. Sanders will be present at the time of the meeting and that any changes in the present procedure which may be recommended as a result of the meeting will be submitted to Dr. Sanders for his approval. ~.'e shall bo pleased to make any changes in the present methods which will reduce the hazards at Deepwater, provided of course that the recommended pro cedure is adaptable to our operations and does not significantly increase the hazards at Detroit.
