Dear Dr. ICehoe : Dr. Howard asked mo to examine' eyes, wh ich I did on Feb. 24th The patient has a vision of: 20/ 50- right eye 20/200 left tT Under Homatropine: Right eye +0.50 cyl. axis 7 gave 20/50. Left " +0.75 " "97 " 20/30. There is a macular retinitis in each eye. The per iphery of each eye is normal, but central vision is very poor. It is certainly a question in my mind if this man is ever going to have better vision than he has at present. I do not think his eyes will ever be normal again. It is too soon to be certain whether the damage to his vision is permanent, or whether .there will be partial improvement. Thanking you for sending him, X
