Solid Marionette Heads
Solid heads can be modeled of paper pulp, of dry crumpled paper with top layers of pasted strips, or of paper mixtures (paper and paste mixed with sawdust, salt, wax, asbestos, or other materials).
Control loops can be inserted and ce mented in any solid head.
Paper modeling can be done over any of these cores: discarded light bulbs, gourds, nest eggs, dowels, balls.
Simplify and exaggerate the features for an effective puppet character. Pencils, brush handles, paper clips, orange sticks and spoons are helpful modeling tools when pulp is used.
