EPA Region 8 will host a series of forums to interact and dialogue with industry reps and stakeholder groups representing key sectors of the economy in the states of CO, MX, ND, SD, UT, and WY. These forums will resemble the oil and gas round table held in Denver in February. Forum goals include fostering a better understanding among EPA personnel of industry business models and best practices in environmental protection, and providing an opportunity for industry participants to learn about EPA's regulatory processes.
Region 8 Smart Sectors is partnering with trade associations and industries that represent the engine of the Region's economy and provide significant opportunities for environmental impact. Additional sectors may be added over time.
