But I have, what I hope is, a good reason. The National Habitat Planning Coalition (HPC) will be in DC for agency and Congressional meetings April 10-11. On Tuesday, April 10 I would like to request a meeting with both and/or each of you and the National HCP Coalition team (approx. 8-10 folks). As you might imagine, the group will be interested in both funding, policy and practice issues relating to the expansion of HCPs especially given the now proven beneficial nexus between infrastructure and advance mitigation as provided by HCPs. I hope this works for you, as a meeting with you for the group would be a highlight of its spring visit to Washington. They are already scheduled to be in the Interior HQ building for another meeting from 11:00amnoon on Tuesday, April 10. Thus, the noon-1:00 period on Tuesday, April 10 would be perfect for either a single 30-minute meeting with the two of you together, or two separate meetings scheduled for 30 minutes each. They are also available between 8:00am and 9:30am on that day.
