The following is a list of minor items which were noted at the time of my survey. A review or completion of all items is anticipated prior to the next survey. Completion of these maintenance type items should be considered to be part of the overall plant's fire safety, with items of greater importance
submitted as recommendations on our Loss Prevention Survey. Should there be any questions concerning these items, please contact the Philadelphia Office of this Association.
From the previous maintenance letter:
1. The fire door in Building No. 515, first floor, between the Abcov and bagging areas should be kept closed.

2. The double fire doors in Building No. 547 should have guards provided to
protect them from being damaged or blocked open by stock. 3. Address the following items in Building No. 533.

a. The Make-up Room for the catalysts should have the pipe chases and holes on the first floor sealed with masonry material.
b. The air damper on the first floor of the Make-up Room should be replaced with a fire rated fusible link damper.
4. Building No. 534 - Some of the deluge sprinkler heads on the ground floor corridor may be obstructed by beams and duct work. Obstructed heads should be relocated.
5. The electric and diesel pump test stand should be equipped with an additional hose and nozzle support.
6. Remove the isobar C (Group 1A liquid) from the area next to the stripper column outside of Building No. 513.

New items from the current survey:
7. Remove the water from the vapor detection light fixtures on the third floor of Building No. 531.
8. Provide a PIV Key in the emergency packet located in the Boiler Room Disaster Control Center.
9. Replace the fusible links on the inside of each personnel fire doors with an exposed fusible link. This problem exists mostly throughout Building No. 502.
10. Repair the three fire doors located in Building No. 541. One door is missing the top catch, the other two are difficult to open.
